In this 3-day workshop, which will be 80% hands-on, you will learn a new model for assessment and treatment of your clients’ shoulder and back challenges. Benny Vaughn brings 42 years of continuous clinical experience to his teaching and will share how to incorporate traditional science into non-traditional therapy strategies. It will be an exciting and inspiring learning experience.

Benny Vaughn has a BS in Health Education from the University of Florida and is a licensed Athletic Trainer. He is a Board Certified and Licensed Massage Therapist. Benny has been in private practice in Orthopedic Sports Massage since 1975 treating athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and active adults, including health and wellness consultation for individual clients, precision stretching, and soft-tissue manual therapy for performance enhancement and therapeutic intervention for pain and limited movement. He is an international expert in the assessment, treatment and care of athletic related soft-tissue dysfunction using manual techniques. Benny has been an invited lecturer for professional wellness and therapy conferences throughout the United States, Australia, Ireland, Japan, Spain and Russia. He has served as Medical Liaison at Olympic Stadium, 1996 Summer Olympics and was a full time member of the medical planning staff of the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games. Benny Vaughn began teaching in the late 1970s when he owned a massage therapy school in Florida. He has developed a unique teaching style, teaching workshops throughout the U.S. and internationally. He conducts post-graduate mentoring programs for massage therapists. Benny has been published in multiple articles for the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies, educational materials and books. He has received many awards for his lifetime achievements in the massage therapy profession, sports, and Athletic Training. Benny is currently in private practice in Fort Worth, Texas.
