Course Description:

Micro-Trauma Therapy uses a balance between massage, stretching and simple exercise techniques to treat micro-traumas, increase healing speeds and maintain soft tissue suppleness. Through constant repetitive movement, everyone, regardless of lifestyle experiences micro-traumas or strains to their soft tissue.

This course will have a special focus on the shoulder, hip, and knee. Discover the art of addressing soft tissue injuries to ensure sustainable functionality in your clients' lives, potentially preventing unnecessary surgeries. The program features a presentation and discussion on the injury repair process, coupled with hands-on learning experiences for participants.

Therapists will learn:

How to treats minor tears through a meticulous balance of active isolated stretching, simple exercise, and massage. This form of therapy stems from Raju's former work as the founder of the S.E.E.M. (stretching, exercise, education, massage) technique. M.T.M.T. allows therapists to “feel the body” before applying various stretching, facial and deep tissue releases. It removes adhesions, repairs tissue and joint disfunction, and provides the client with an increased range of motion. An injury or blockage that may have taken months to heal can, many times, be removed in less than an hour. M.T.M.T. can be adapted to any client and represents a new wave of success in the medical massage therapy world.
